Karva Chauth (pronounced Karva-Chought) is a vibrant and meaningful religious festival celebrated annually by Hindu women from northern India. From sunrise to moonrise, women fast and pray for their husbands long life and good health. The day is filled with joy, love, and devotion as women strengthen and celebrate different family relationships, pray and sing together, apply intricate henna designs and bond with each other. In a heartwarming modern twist, many men now fast alongside their partners, showing support and love. Karva Chauth beautifully blends tradition with togetherness, making it a radiant celebration of enduring love and unity.
