Part of the Celtic Collection, the impressive ICC Wales is a major new venue for UK and international events.
Easily accessible, a variety of transport links bring visitors directly to the RCGP Annual Conference and Exhibition. The conference venue is located on the outskirts of Newport, just off the M4 (J24) and only five minutes from the Prince of Wales Bridge (Second Severn Crossing).

Cycling and walking
ICC Wales includes 20 cycle racks with direct access to the Convention Centre atrium.
There are four National Cycle Network routes in Newport as well as a cycle path linking the city to Cardiff. For more information please view the Newport City Council website, here.
Travelling by bus
Newport Bus services travel along and nearby Chepstow Road, with the closest bus stop located a five-minute walk from ICC Wales.
Travelling by train
Delegates attending the RCGP Annual Conference at ICC Wales can now enjoy an exclusive rate when travelling by train with Great Western Railway to Newport.
Standard Return example (London Paddington – Newport) – £42 per person
First Class Return example (London Paddington – Newport) – £86 per person
- Conference fares offer an 80% saving based on an Anytime Return from London Paddington to Cardiff Central.
- Our conference fares are only available to delegates. You will be asked to produce a confirmation of conference attendance by the train manager.
- Conference fares are available from most stations on the GWR network.
- Outbound tickets are fixed, times and dates cannot be changed. The return journey is fully flexible.

Travelling by car
Exit the M4 at Junction 24. Take the B4237 towards Newport and follow the brown signs to Celtic Manor Resort/International Conference Centre Wales. Turn right at the first set of traffic lights, you will pass a large Celtic Manor sign on your left. Keep left and head over the bridge crossing the M4, then take the 3rd exit towards ICC Wales. Take the first right to car park levels -1 & -2 or head straight to drop off at the main ICC Wales Atrium entrance.
Please note there is no transport available between Celtic Manor reception and ICC Wales, this is a short 5 minute walk which can be made on foot.
Where can I park?
Underground parking is available at International Convention Centre Wales, with additional parking available at sites throughout the resort. Charges apply for parking in all areas.
We recommend you book your parking in advance for a fixed rate of £6 per visit.
