When and where is the RCGP Annual Conference and Exhibition 2026?
The RCGP Annual Conference & Exhibition 2026 will take place in person at the SEC Glasgow on Thursday 29 October–Friday 30 October 2026.

What are the conference opening hours?
- Thursday 29 October: 08:00 – 17:30
- Friday 30 October: 08:00 – 17:30
Early registration: To help you save time on the morning of the event, registration desks will be open at the SEC from 16:00 – 19:00 on Wednesday 28 October. We encourage early arrivals in Glasgow to collect their badges then.

Are there any virtual attendance options available for the RCGP Annual Conference and Exhibition?
While the event will be held in-person, those who cannot attend physically can purchase a virtual ticket and gain access to a selection of live-streamed sessions. This will also provide access to on-demand content for up to three months (until 30 January).

Is there a conference app?

The app is reserved exclusively for RCGP Annual Conference and Exhibition attendees. Notification regarding the download period will be emailed to confirmed delegates.
Do I need a visa?
If you are an overseas delegate and need a UK visa to attend, you can request a letter of invitation from the RCGP. To receive a letter:
- Email rcgp@haymarket.com
- Include your passport details and confirmed booking reference
Letters of invitation can only be provided to registered and fully paid delegates.
Are lunch and refreshments included?
Yes. To fuel your learning, all refreshment breaks and lunch are included in your in-person ticket. These are served in the Exhibition Hall to maximise your networking time with partners and peers.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the conference is smart casual and comfortable shoes are recommended.
What software do I need?
No downloads are required. The platform is web-based and fully responsive for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices. For an optimal experience of the clinical programme, the use of Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari is recommended.
How do I access the on-demand content?
All delegates, including those with a virtual ticket, receive on-demand access to recorded sessions for three months (until 30 January). This allows the primary care community to build expertise at a preferred pace.
Registration and attendance
How can I register for the upcoming RCGP Annual Conference and Exhibition?
Registration is now open. We recommend visiting our tickets page to view the available options for different career stages and then booking your place.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance and CPD points?
Yes. Certificates will be emailed to your registered address post-event. This conference is self-accredited; typically, one hour of learning equates to 1 CPD credit. We recommend using the event app to log the sessions you attend for your appraisal.
Can I transfer my place or cancel?
Substitutions are welcome at no extra charge until Monday 28 September 2026.
Cancellations must be made in writing to rcgp@haymarket.com.
- On or before 17 July 2026: Full refund less £45 admin fee
- 18 July – 28 August 2026: 50% refund
- From 29 August 2026: No refunds can be issued
How can I receive a group discount?
Group discounts are applied automatically at checkout to support the primary care community in attending together. The following rates apply to the total booking:
- 3–5 delegates – 10% discount
- 6+ delegates – 15% discount

Can I get copies of the presentations?
Where speakers have granted permission, presentations will be available to download via the event app approximately 1–2 weeks after the conference finishes.
Programme and research
Where can I view the scientific poster programme?
The poster programme will be available via the official conference app. This includes abstracts and digital versions of the 400+ peer-reviewed posters showcased at the event.
Can I get copies of the materials presented at the conference?
Subject to speaker permission, presentations will be available for download via the conference app approximately 1–2 weeks after the event.
