Protecting our professional

community from scams

We have been alerted to scam and phishing companies targeting our attendees, members, and exhibitors. These fraudulent organisations often claim to provide services on our behalf, such as hotel bookings or the sale of attendee lists.

Please be aware that these companies are not connected to the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) or the event. Engaging with them may result in significant financial loss.

How to stay secure

Your security is a priority for our professional family. Please review the following details to ensure you are interacting with official channels.

  • Official domains: Only trust emails originating from @rcgp.org.uk, @wonderly.agency, or @haymarket.com.
  • Email lists: We are the sole owner of all event data and never sell our attendee lists or email data to third parties.
  • Accommodation: MICE Concierge is our only official accommodation partner; any other offers for discounted hotel rates are fraudulent.
  • Show guides: We do not produce a printed show guide; all official event information is hosted on the conference app.
  • Suspicious links: Do not click links or "unsubscribe" from unverified emails, as this confirms your address is active to scammers.
