This celebration of the work of the RCGP Faculties will be hosted by Dr Mike Holmes, Joint Vice-Chair of RCGP Council with special responsibility for membership. The event is an opportunity to hear from Faculty members as how RCGP is supporting their local primary care communities, by focusing on a few key Faculty innovations. Delegates will have an opportunity to discuss and consider how these ideas could be implemented in their locality. The session will conclude with the presentation of the annual Vibrant Faculties Award, by RCGP President Mayur Lakhani. A complimentary drinks and networking reception will conclude the event.

Pack your running/walking shoes and join us for an early morning run/walk/stroll along the Liverpool waterfront. It is the perfect way to blow off the cobwebs and see a bit of Liverpool before the morning sessions start. This run and is suitable for all levels of fitness and you are free to walk if you prefer not to run! We invite you to take photos of the scenic route during the run and upload them to Instagram with #rcgp19run
This 5k route is an out and back course and situated on a flat route along the Liverpool waterfront.
This is a non-competitive event.  There will be no official course markers on the route and the event will not be timed.

For the first time we will be hosting an event specifically for those with children. From 16.30 – 18.30pm enjoy some food and drinks at the ‘Den’. The children will be entertained by Liverpool’s own ‘Beatles Boogie’. You can then kick back or get involved and boogie, your choice.

Join other later career and retired members for an evening of modern art, in a private guided tour of Tate Liverpool’s Keith Haring exhibition. After exploring the artworks, attendees will be invited to meet fellow colleagues, have a drink and take in the night-time views of the historic Royal Albert Dock. 

American artist and activist Keith Haring was part of the legendary New York art scene during the 1980s and worked with artists such as Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Widely recognised for his cartoon style of drawing, this monumental exhibition at Tate Liverpool stretches out across the entire fourth floor of the gallery.

On display is a variety of artworks featuring Haring’s unmistakable icons, including radiant babies, barking dogs and flying spaceships. Also on display are Haring’s activist works, which responded to contemporary social and political events, such as the AIDS epidemic, homophobia and drug addiction. Visitors can also enjoy archival film footage, posters and photographs that capture the vibrancy of 1980s New York Street culture.

Price includes access to Tate Liverpool’s Keith Haring exhibition by private guided tour, a drink upon arrival and following the tour. Places are strictly limited and allocated on a first come first serve basis.
