Dr Onyinye Okonkwo

Dr Onyinye Okonkwo is a dedicated GP Senior Partner at Wand Medical Centre, located in Highgate, Birmingham. She serves as the Honorary Secretary and Council Representative for the RCGP Midland Faculty. Dr Okonkwo plays a crucial role in healthcare leadership as an Associate Non-Executive Director for Quality for Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care System and is on the executive of the Birmingham LMC and one of the Operational Directors for My Healthcare SDS Federation, demonstrating her commitment to advancing the field of medicine. Dr Okonkwo is actively involved in medical education and training, holding positions as a trainer with the West Midlands Deanery and a Lead Examiner for the RCGP SCA exams. Her passion for education extends to her roles as a Community Based Medicine tutor for University of Birmingham and Aston University in Birmingham.
