Dr. Naveen Hosangadi Jayadev is a respected GP partner and Training Programme Director at Chesterfield and Derbyshire Dales GPSTP, and has over ten years of experience in medical education. His focus lies in aiding overseas medical graduates in their transition to GP training. Utilising his extensive background in sports medicine, Dr. Hosangadi-Jayadev employs sports psychology techniques to support GP registrars in managing exam stress and achieving optimal performance during AKT and SCA exams His innovative approach was highlighted by the recognition of the Chesterfield AKT strategy poster, lauded as one of the best at the DEMEC conference. . He also works with the East Midlands deanery AKT group to help close the RCGP AKT differential attainment gap, demonstrating his dedication to equity in medical education.
