Dr Sharmila Parks
GP, Talbot Medical Center
Dr Parks is an NHS GP working in the North East of England for over 25 years. She is currently a GP partner at Talbot Medical Centre, a Deep End Practice in South Tyneside. Dr Parks has been a member of the RCGP Adolescent Health Group for over 10 years and has worked with young people and schools to improve young people’s understanding and access to primary care. Raising young people’s awareness of confidentially, competency and other health care rights has been an important part of these projects.
