Mr Jason Wood-Ives
Trans Health Coordinator , Humankind
Jason Wood-Ives is the Trans Health Care Coordinator for South Tyneside. Working within primary care, Jason supports trans and non-binary people in South Tyneside to get affirming and consistent care. Within this role Jason supports staff with queries based on gender identity and appropriate care, provides support for transitioning patients and makes referrals onto other services which may be needed such as Gender Identity Clinic, Sexual Health Services and Mental Health Services. Jason has a BSc in Psychology and Counselling and a MSc in Health Psychology.
