Dr James Waldron


Dr. James Waldron is a Portfolio GP in Nottingham with a passion for education, engagement, and activation in primary care. As a GP Educator, he creates and delivers CPD for GP Notebook and co-hosts the GP Notebook Podcast, exploring innovative careers in medicine. He is a GP Tutor with the Phoenix Programme, where he helped develop the New to Practice Fellowship and the Trainee Transition Scheme, supporting doctors from training into early career stages. Committed to modernising education, he spearheaded the GrowNotts Primary Care App with Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub to enhance networking and CPD access. As a Nottingham City LMC Rep and former Vale of Trent First5 Lead, he champions GP voices and professional growth. Beyond medicine, he is a keen musician, playing with the Nottingham Symphony Orchestra and a folk metal band. His mission is to energise, connect, and empower healthcare professionals for positive change.
