Professor Nicola Robinson

Emeritus Professor, London South Bank University Guest Professor, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, London South Bank University

Following a BSc (Hons) Biological sciences (Leicester University) and PhD in immunology (Manchester University), Nicola worked in epidemiology and public health in various London medical schools; St Mary’s, Middlesex, Charing Cross/Westminster, University College, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and was Consultant Epidemiologist for Brent and Harrow Health Authority. She became a Professor at University of West London and then London South Bank University where her research focussed on complementary approaches to health. She is currently Emeritus Professor of traditional Chinese Medicine, London South Bank University and visiting professor at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She has supervised postgraduate students in UK and China and published over 270 articles in peer review journals. Until 2022 she was Editor in Chief of the European Journal of Integrative Medicine and is currently Editor in Chief of Evidence-based Chinese Medicine and Technology assessment.
