Paul Donnelly is Head of Campaigns & Activism at Mencap,
leading national campaigns to improve the lives of people with a learning
disability and their families. For the past eight years, he has led Mencap’s
health campaigning, tackling health inequalities and improving access to
healthcare. Paul leads Mencap’s flagship health campaign, I’m In, which aims to
increase the number of people on the Learning Disability Register so they can
access the reasonable adjustments, annual health checks and support they are
entitled to. He is passionate about ensuring lived experience shapes policy and
practice across the health and care system.
