Mrs Anshini Thakur

Anshini Thakur is a FY1 Resident Doctor at Nottingham University Hospitals Trust. She graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2026. Anshini has a keen interest in cardiovascular sciences, and is aspiring to become a cardiothoracic surgeon in the future. With experience in both India and the UK, she is a strong advocate for lifestyle and preventative medicine in the context of cardiovascular disease – looking into the variables aNecting weight, wellbeing, metabolic health and how these eventually tie into patient outcomes. Having completed an intercalated BSc in Surgical Design, Technology and Innovation, Anshini is a keen academic and thoroughly enjoys research. In her free time, she is an avid runner, guitarist, and enjoys traveling around the world.
