Dr Lynsay Crawford

Senior Academic GP, University of Glasgow

Lynsay Crawford is a GP and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow. She has 30 years of experience working as a GP in deprived communities in Scotland. She is on the steering group of The Scottish Deep Project. and has a strong interest in the social determinants of health and health inequalities.

She has been an Academic GP for 12 years and is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. Her teaching includes innovative methods such as Graphic Medicine, gamification, and students learning directly from people with lived experience, often from marginalised groups in society. 

She is involved in medical education research with a strong focus on lived experience and inclusion.
