Lyme Resource Centre
The Lyme Resource Centre is a clinician-led charity with a mission to minimise the risk of Lyme disease whilst enjoying the outdoors, by educating the public and health professionals about ticks and Lyme disease, the most common tick-borne infection in Europe and the USA.
We aim to promote effective prevention strategies amongst the general public, including tick bite avoidance during outdoor activities and awareness of the early signs and symptoms of Lyme disease - enabling prompt medical intervention and increasing the likelihood of full recovery.
Through evidence-based educational resources we aim to support healthcare professionals in the early recognition, accurate diagnosis, and effective management of Lyme disease. We are proud to have worked with RCGP on the recently updated ‘RCGP Lyme Disease Toolkit'.
