Dr Thomas Kennedy

Tom Kennedy is a GP in the North East of England. Alongside panellist Dr Luke Sayers, he has worked on a project originating in North Tyneside that seeks to improve continuity of care: raising awareness of its value, helping practices embed continuity-focused ways of working, and creating learning resources for GPs and registrars. He has published commentary on continuity in the BMJ and is producing an educational programme on the subject for the North East and North Cumbria (NENC) Boost Learning Academy.

Tom has recently completed a Clinical Fellowship with Professor Sir Liam Donaldson, Chair of the NENC Integrated Care Board and former Chief Medical Officer for England, centred on patient safety learning, population health, and leadership in healthcare.
