Dr Steve Holmes

Dr Steve Holmes has been a general practice principal since 1989 and continues to provide clinical care to the Shepton Mallet population in Somerset. He was on the RCGP council for 15 years and remains involved in his local Severn Faculty of the RCGP, as well as helping as a clinical advisor regularly in college environments. He is a previous chair of PCRS and remains involved as Policy Lead and on the executive). He is currently chair of the IPCRG Education committee.  He has been involved in more than 300 published papers and has spoken widely. He is a current involved in several national respiratory work in NHS England and with the BTS.  He enjoys keeping running when the opportunity arises and playing the piano and a variety of guitars badly.
