Dr Rebecca France

Rebecca is an ST3 GP Registrar based in Wigan, Greater Manchester. She qualified as a doctor in 2018 from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London. Prior to studying medicine, she completed a degree in Biomedical Sciences and an MRes in Experimental Physiology and Drug Discovery at Imperial College London.

During her foundation training, Rebecca gained extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, including working in one of the areas of London most severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. She subsequently worked as a Clinical Fellow and began ACCS Emergency Medicine training before moving into General Practice training in 2023.

Rebecca has a particular interest in Women’s Health, especially improving support for women and families who have experienced miscarriage and baby loss. She is currently on maternity leave and looks forward to returning to continue her GP training in 2027.
