Dr Pascual Daza-Ramirez

GP Trainer & Chair of International Family Medicine Ultrasound Society

Dr Daza-Ramirez has practised family medicine in Cornwall for twenty years. He combines general practice with teaching doctors in training, medical students and mentoring new to practice GPs. He runs Partnership Preparation courses for GPs in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset. He also teaches point of care ultrasound imaging in the UK and abroad. Pascual is passionate about developing the skills of family doctors both clinically and in business and financial terms. Before becoming a full-time GP, Dr Daza-Ramirez trained at Cambridge University Institute of Public Health and completed his MBA at European University Business School. He qualified from Barcelona Medical School in 1989. He is a co-chair of RCGP POCUS Special Interest Group. He is a co-founder and current Chair of the International Family Medicine Ultrasound Society, non-profit organization based in Luxembourg. He enjoys cooking, sailing, guitar and racket sports.
