
Dr Nikki Kanani
Global Medical Director / GP, Neko Health / NHS
Dr Nikita Kanani MBE is Global Medical Director at Neko Health, a preventative health platform operating across Europe and the United States, and a practising NHS GP in Lewisham. She is Visiting Professor at the University of Sunderland, Trustee at Doctors of the World and NHS Online, as well as a delegate to UN Women, expert adviser to Jamie Oliver Group and a medical commentator for Sky News.
Previously Medical Director for Primary Care at NHS England, Nikita was Senior Responsible Officer for primary care during the COVID-19 pandemic, including the national vaccination programme. She served as Chief Accountable Officer of NHS Bexley CCG, overseeing a £306m budget.
She holds an MBE awarded in 2017 for services to primary care and has been recognised in the HSJ100. Her passions include authentic leadership, preventative health and equity. Outside medicine, Nikita is a mother, a hot yoga devotee, and co-hosts Sari, Not Sorry! with her sister — a podcast about life, identity and everything in between.
