Dr Lucy Baxter

Dr Lucy Baxter is a GP in London, a Health Equity Fellow and an NIHR Pre-Doctoral Fellow. Alongside her clinical work, she works with local voluntary and community organisations to co-produce community health outreach projects and supports Primary Care Network Community Health and Wellbeing Workers as their clinical supervisor. Her research explores how medical education can better prepare future doctors to recognise and respond to health inequalities. She is particularly interested in learning from patients, communities and frontline staff, and in developing practical approaches that help make healthcare more equitable and accessible.
