Specialist TPD Neurodiversity GP School, Y&H Deanery
Kate is a GP and Training Programme Director for the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery, with a portfolio role supporting doctors in training. She has a particular interest in neurodiversity in medical education and works with trainees and educators to develop practical, compassionate approaches to learning, performance and wellbeing.
Her work focuses on creating inclusive training environments and supporting doctors who are struggling within traditional training systems. She brings both professional expertise and lived experience to this work, with a particular interest in how small, thoughtful adjustments can have a significant impact on both individual experience and team functioning. Kate is passionate about translating theory into realistic, everyday practice, equipping educators with simple, effective strategies that can be applied in busy clinical settings.
