Dr Emma Wong

Based in Sheffield, Emma works as a GP Partner and a Training Programme Director for the Sheffield and Barnsley GP Training Scheme. She is a pastoral tutor and examiner for medical students at the University of Sheffield, and an NHS ambassador for the Inspiring the Future Scheme. She sits on the Faculty Board for South Yorkshire and North Trent as the Honorary Secretary and Regional F5 Lead and sits on College Council as one of the RCGP’s Nationally Elected Council Members for the 2023-2026 period. Emma has a keen interest in education, especially around how technology can help improve educational delivery in a post-Covid environment. She is particularly keen to improve the experience of newly qualified GPs and trainees (especially those with young children) particularly with regards to workload, communication and working environments.
