Dr Abel Tesfai

Dr. Abel Tesfai holds an MRes in Biomedical Research and PhD in Clinical Sciences from Imperial College London. His PhD was on the early phase of sepsis disease and included amine profiling of blood samples and examination of inflammation signalling pathways. Shortly before the pandemic, he conducted postdoc work on vascular disease and breast cancer research before then working at the University of Westminster as a Research Information Support Officer. Abel now works at Prostate Cancer UK as Evidence Manager and is particularly interested in health inequalities, recurrence and treatment trials.
