Chair: Elizabeth Barr

Having qualified from Liverpool University, Elizabeth joined the RAF where she completed her GP training working in a variety of places around the UK. Having settled in the North of Scotland she moved into the NHS and became a Partner in Lossiemouth. She developed a significant interest in Medical Education and, having become a GP Trainer and local trainee group facilitator, she was appointed as Training Programme Director and then Assistant Director of Postgraduate GP Education in the North of Scotland. She left NHS Education in 2022 and was appointed as a Civilian Consultant Advisor to the Military GP Education Committee and then joined the RCGP WPBA Core Group. She retired from her Partnership in December 2025 but continues to work as a GP locally whilst maintaining her roles for the Military and the RCGP.
