Karen Kirkham

Karen is Chief Medical Officer with Deloitte UK and is a partner in the health strategy team in the UK and leads the Deloitte global clinical network. She supports NHS clients at national, regional and local level.  She joined from her role as a GP and Clinical lead for the Dorset Integrated Care System, leading the Dorset Clinical Services Review leading to transformation across acute, community and primary care settings. She practiced in Weymouth, Dorset for over 30 years, where she combined general practice with leadership at locality, ICS and National level. She held roles as the National Clinical Advisor for Systems Development, chaired the National Population Health Management Advisory Board and was Senior Clinical Advisor in Primary Care Transformation with NHSE. Alongside this, she was a GP partner in a 16,000-patient practice- and senior partner for 8 years.
