Dr Kim Emerson
Clinical Lead for Workplace-based Assessment , RCGP
Dr Kim Emerson is the RCGP WPBA Clinical Lead. She is a long-standing Associate GP Dean for ARCP and Assessment in Thames Valley, an ARCP Chair, Educational Supervisor, trainer of over 20 years and previous TPD and Associate GP Dean for Reading and Newbury VTS. She is an External Advisor for the RCGP, and a practicing GP of over 30 years, having recently stepped down as Senior Partner for Sonning Common Health Centre in Oxfordshire to become salaried. These roles combine well to make Kim an expert on WPBA and ARCP. She is passionate about General Practice and training and ensuring that the package of assessment and resources equip the next generation of GP trainees to successfully navigate the challenges ahead, helping ensure that General Practice survives and thrives long into the future.
