General Practitioner (retired), Lyme Resouce Centre

Dr Anne Cruikshank (MBChB, MRCGP, DRCOG) is a recently retired GP with a longstanding special interest in Lyme disease. In 2018, she was appointed as the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Clinical Champion for Lyme disease, leading the Lyme Disease Spotlight Project—an initiative aimed at raising awareness of this complex and often under-recognised condition.

Dr Cruikshank co-authored the original RCGP Lyme Disease Toolkit and supported the RCGP in the development of its updated 2025 edition. Her clinical experience includes managing patients with Lyme disease in both NHS and military primary care settings, as well as within a consultant-led Lyme disease clinic.
