Dr Joy Shacklock
RCGP Safeguarding Lead, RCGP
Dr Joy Shacklock is the RCGP Safeguarding Lead as well as a Named GP for Child and Adult Safeguarding in North Yorkshire and City of York. Joy has extensive experience as a GP Practice safeguarding lead as well as previously being Homeless Health Lead in Harrogate. In her college role, Joy provides safeguarding teaching and training, develops safeguarding resources for primary care and represents the RCGP at a national level regarding safeguarding matters.
