
Dr Emma Tonner

Emma Tonner is an Academic Clinical Fellow based in Leeds/Bradford. Her previous experience includes a national leadership fellowship with the NIHR Clinical Research Network (now known as Research Delivery Network) and Department of Health and Social Care, in Primary Research, Strategy and Policy. She has engaged in postgraduate studies in Quality and Patient Safety Improvement and Health and Care Research Delivery.
Emma has extensive and increasing experience in healthcare leadership, systems and policy gained through a number of significant leadership roles (from local to international level). Emma is passionate about sharing her knowledge and empowering healthcare professionals to be change-makers within their systems and communities at all levels; providing them with the skills and voice to achieve this. She champions inclusive leadership opportunities and shares her passion as a healthcare leadership educator, academic and champion of all things Primary Care research.
