Professor Ranjit Manchanda
Ranjit Manchanda is a Professor at Wolfson Institute of Population Health, and co-Leads the Cancer Prevention Unit, QMUL; Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at Barts Health NHS Trust, London, and Hon Prof Department of Health Services Research, LSHTM. Ranjit’s research interests are focused around Targeted Precision Prevention; including, population-based germline testing, mainstreaming genetic testing, and precision medicine approaches for risk prediction, stratification, and targeted screening & cancer prevention along with health economic issues in these areas. He is the Principal Investigator on a number of genetic testing, screening, and prevention trials and was awarded an NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) Fellowship. He is a member of the NCRI Ovarian Cancer Surgical Subgroup. He has a keen interest in ultra-radical debulking surgery for ovarian cancer along with early diagnosis/prevention. He leads the high-risk women’s Precision Prevention Clinic at Barts Health. He is the Integrated Academic TPD, London Specialty School of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Health Education England.
