Dr Jude Hayward

SpecialityGPwSI in Clinical Genomics, Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust

Dr Jude Hayward is a Salaried GP in Bradford (Affinity Care) and a GPwSI in Genetics in the Yorkshire Regional Genetics Service where she contributes to clinical service provision and service development. She has a longstanding interest in education around genetics and genomics for Primary Care, and is currently Primary Care Advisor to HEE Genomics Education Programme. She is RCGP Joint Clinical Champion for Genomics in Primary Care with Dr. Imran Rafi, co-developing the RCGP Genomics Toolkit. She furthered her interest in Pharmacogenomics through completion of an MSc for Genomic Medicine, and both she and Dr. Imran Rafi are members of the ‘Pharmacogenomics in the NHS’ Joint Working Party of the Royal College of Physicians and British Pharmacological Society. She has also been known to play the cello in a string quartet for RCGP Annual Conference dinner.
