eConsult enables primary care patients to submit symptoms/requests to their own GP electronically and offers around the clock NHS self-help information, signposting to services, and a symptom checker. Clinicians can then use our award winning NHS Digital approved video and ‘click to call’ service, to call patients back where required. Video /telephony is also used in Outpatients in Acute Trusts, Mental Health Trusts, and Community Clinics.
In secondary care, eConsult automatically checks in and prioritises patients upon arrival to A&E, speeding up the streaming process, identifying sick patients earlier, reducing waiting and treatment times and improving patient journeys. We also offer digital triage for initial and follow up outpatient appointments, ensuring patients are referred to the most appropriate specialist with all the necessary information upfront. Clinicians can then use video/telephony as required where consultations are remote.
