GP trainee conference information

Everything GP trainees need to know about attending the RCGP Annual Conference.

Ever felt if it’s worth as a trainee, attending the RCGP Annual Conference?

  • Learn about new updates to guidelines via dedicated CPD sessions that will help
    towards your exam preparation.
  • Be part of controversial debates throughout the conference and use your learning to
tick off those hard to reach ePortfolio competencies.
  • Spend your evenings at the social events – meet fellow trainees from across the UK
and abroad, network and share experiences from your own training.

Top tips

  • Register early to grab those earlybird discounts and book cheaper travel and
    accommodation.
  • Get in touch with your local faculty – they may offer a discounted rate towards your
    registration or offer bursary opportunities.
  • Utilise your study budgets to help further support your attendance.
  • Share your experiences – submit a poster to present at conference – anything from
audit and research to ethics and service delivery.
  • Look out for dedicated GP trainee events we’re putting on throughout the conference.

I’d love to see you in Glasgow.

Chair, RCGP AiT Community
