Submit a session idea for 2018

Please complete the form to put forward a suggestion for a concurrent session at the RCGP Annual Primary Care Conference & Exhibition 2018, in Glasgow.

All ideas will be assessed on the information you provide in this form. You will be informed of the College’s decisions in March 2018.

The submission deadline is midnight Monday 8 January 2018

You will be asked to submit your idea to the most relevant of the session streams for 2018. Please note that non-members of the RCGP can only submit to the Quality Improvement stream.

Clinical Learning Practical knowledge updates on hot topics in everyday clinical care

Health and Wellbeing Lifestyle changes to enhance your personal and professional wellbeing

Healthcare Technology Taking advantage of new technologies to develop innovative patient services

Medical Education Developing the trainers and educators of GPs and primary care professionals

Quality Improvement Practical quality improvement strategies for everyday primary care

Research and Innovation Latest findings and practical implementation of primary care research

New Models of Care across the UK How GPs in the four nations are transforming patient care

General Practice Communities Supporting distinct communities of GPs with similar needs and interests

The entry form will ask for details about your suggested content and format for the session, potential speakers and how you will make it interactive and engaging.

  • MRCGP number (all streams except Quality Improvement)
  • Selected stream
  • Suggested title
  • Room layout: Theatre seating or cabaret (limited)
  • Content and objectives (max 150 words)
  • Target audience and importance of topic (max 50 words)
  • Inclusion of patient perspective (max 50 words)
  • Suggested speakers – maximum three (optional at this stage)
  • Conflicts of interest
