Conference runs from Thursday 12 October to Saturday 14 October, with a set up day on Wednesday 11 October. If you join us as a volunteer we will send you a brief pack of information about the event and the role(s) you will undertake.
We are looking for volunteers who can come down on the evening of Wednesday 11 October to help put the final touches to setting up the event. During this time we will be getting stuck in to delegate bag packing, displaying posters, putting out signage and getting training on the registration process.
Then when the event begins you’ll be working in one of two teams of volunteers. Each team volunteers for half a day on Thursday & Friday. The rest of the time is your own. We’ll do our best to mix up your job roles so that you can access as much of the conference content as possible.
We are also seeking a small number of volunteers to help out on Saturday 14 October inside the session rooms.
Each volunteer period lasts for 6 hours, starting at 7am or 12.30pm. Your volunteer period starts with a briefing where you’ll be reminded of your role for that session and given any updated information about the event.
It’s not all work and no play. We hope you’ll have fun snapping shots around conference and posting them on social media, spend time speaking to your future peers & with exhibitors, and join us for a drinks reception on Thursday evening.
