Managing Adult Malnutrition in the Community

Project Info

Project Description

Managing Adult Malnutrition in the Community is a practical guide and pathway to assist community healthcare professionals in identifying and managing the 3 million people in the UK at risk of disease-related malnutrition. Developed by a multi-professional team of expert practitioners, and endorsed by ten key professional and patient associations, including the RCGP and PCSG, it is based on clinical experience and evidence alongside accepted best practice. It includes a screening and management pathway that can be used across care settings to identify adults who are malnourished or at risk of malnutrition along with a pathway to assist in the appropriate use of oral nutritional supplements
(ONS).
