Travelling by Car
The ACC is Less than 20 minutes from the UK motorway network and adjacent to Liverpool’s main through road.
If you are travelling from the Wirral, Wales and the M53, leave the M53 motorway at Junction 3 signposted Birkenhead and follow the A552 for the Birkenhead (Queensway) Tunnel and Liverpool City Centre. Follow signs for The Waterfront.
If you are travelling from the south, leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool.
At the end of the M62 follow signs for Liverpool City Centre along Edge Lane, picking up and following signs for The Waterfront.
If you are travelling from the north, leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Follow to the end of the M58 and then take signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront.
Travelling by Train
Liverpool Lime Street Station can be accessed using the following train services: East Midlands, London Midland, Merseyrail, Northern, Transpennine Express and Virgin.
The ACC Liverpool is a less than a 25 minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. Alternatively, you can catch the Merseyrail train service from Lime Street to James Street which is less than a 15 minute walk from the ACC.
Travelling by Plane
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is a 30 – 40 minute taxi ride from the ACC. Manchester Airport is just 45 minutes taxi ride.
Alternatively, airlines at JLA include two of Europe’s largest low cost airlines, easyJet and Ryanair, both of whom have large bases at JLA. A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take approximately 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five-minute walk of ACC Liverpool. Just 45 minutes’ away via the motorway network, Manchester Airport has an even more extensive network of flights, with long haul destinations including America and the Far East served with direct flights. Once again, we can arrange private transfers for you.
