The SEC Glasgow is fully accessible. The SEC Centre has automatic doors at both the East and West entrances, and the main doors in the SEC Armadillo have been widened to provide easier access for wheelchairs.
The exhibition hall in the SEC Centre is at ground level, and the upper levels of the SEC Armadillo, Loch Suite and Seminar Suite are accessible by lift and escalators.

We will be providing a smartphone conference app for delegates to use during the conference. The app will provide the following features:
– Connect with fellow attendees one-to-one and in open discussion forums
– Share experiences via the social feed
– Personalise your agenda (please note session booking is not available via the app)
– Interactive floorplans
– View speakers, sponsors and exhibitors
You will be contacted when the app is available to download. Please note that the app is not accessible for exhibitors and those who have not registered for the event.
Avoid the queues! Print your badge at home and simply pick up a badge holder on arrival. Instructions for folding your badge and which colour lanyard you should collect will be included on the A4 PDF badge, which will be first emailed to you approximately one week before the event.
Onsite printing will be available but will be subject to wait times during busy periods. If you plan to arrive in the 30 minutes prior to the opening plenary sessions we strongly advise that you print your badge at home.
For security purposes name badges must be worn at all times. In the event that you lose your badge, a replacement must be obtained at the registration desk. In addition some of the exhibiting companies may ask to scan your badge. Please be aware that by doing this you will be providing your basic contact details; akin to handing them a business card.You will be emailed an e-ticket prior to the conference which has a bar-code on. Simply print this email and bring with you to scan onsite and print your badge.You will then be able to collect a badge holder and lanyard. Instructions on which colour lanyard you should collect will be included in the delegate joining instructions, which will be emailed to you approximately one week before the event.
We strongly advise that you arrive within good time to the conference to avoid the queues.

In the West Lobby of the SEC Centre there are two Clydesdale Bank ATMs, there is also one located on the ground floor of the SSE Hydro.
Lunch and all scheduled refreshment breaks will be served from designated points in the exhibition hall. All food stations will have allergens sheet to confirm all ingredients used and there will be a dedicated station for specific dietary requirements for those that have been pre-requested. This can be requested when registering for your conference ticket.
Certificates of attendance will be issued after the conference and sent to your registered email address. This is conference is self accredited. There is no set amount or min/max of credits to receive; it depends on how many sessions you attend but typically one hour of learning = 1 CPD credit
You can view the programme to get an idea of how much you could accumulate. We also recommend that you keep note of the sessions you attend at the conference by adding them to your personal schedule on the official conference app.
The cloakroom is located on the Concourse, on the ground floor. There will be a charge of £2.00 per item. The cloakrooms are attended by a member of SEC Glasgow staff at all times; please note, however, that items are left at your own risk.
The RCGP and Haymarket have worked tirelessly to use recycled, recyclable and/or sustainable materials wherever possible. All printed materials carry the FSC logo. Signage is produced in reboard where possible. Delegate bags have been responsibly sourced. The RCGP Membership Stand is created from a modular re-usable framework to reduce wasted materials. Certain information in the Delegate Handbook has been moved online and to the App to reduce paper. All food is locally and responsibly sourced. Please use the appropriate rubbish bins within the SEC Centre. The SEC Centre team hand-sort all of their waste for recycling and, wherever possible, 100% of waste is recycled and reused. The SEC Centre only sends a minimal amount of waste to landfill.
In the event of an emergency please contact a member of staff from Haymarket, the RCGP or the SEC Centre, who are located at the east end of the concourse in the SEC Centre. There is also a fully equipped Medical Room on the ground floor of The SSE Hydro First aid support is available onsite; please ask an SEC Centre steward who will be able to assist you. In the event of a fire alarm, please leave your belongings and exit via the clearly marked emergency exits, where stewards will guide you to the meeting point. Do not use the lifts.
The exhibition will be located in Hall 5 of the SEC.
If you are looking to make a group booking for the conference, at the beginning of the registration process please choose one of the following: ‘Registration contact is not attending, but there are other attendees’ or ‘Registration contact is attending along with other attendees’.

Please note we are not able to provide invitation letters to those who are not planning to attend the conference (e.g. partners). Invitation letters can only be provided to those who have registered for the conference.
A single delegate pass does not include access for accompanying partners. If you are travelling to the conference with a partner or associate, please ensure they have registered for their own delegate ticket prior to the event. This will be either an Overseas Member Ticket (members of the college only) or an Overseas Non-Member Ticket.
If you are travelling to the UK with a partner or associate who is not intending to attend the conference with you, we recommend they visit www.visitscotland.com or www.peoplemakeglasgow.com so that they can plan their trip in advance while you attend the conference.
Less than a 10 minute walk from the SEC Centre is a 1,600-space multi-storey car park, fully secure and open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Payment for your place at the event must have cleared before your registration badge will be emailed to you. Delegates registering within 60 days of the event will be asked to pay by debit / credit card. Please note that we only accept MasterCard and Visa. American Express cannot be accepted.
We strictly do not accept cheque or cash payments. We also highly recommend registering before the conference and not on-site.
We will be providing a dedicated multifaith Prayer Room at the SEC. More information about this will be available closer to the time of the conference.
