GP Specialty Trainee Awards

The RCGP GP Specialty Trainee Awards are open to any GP Trainee in the UK either currently engaged in or within one year of having completed specialty training for general practice at the time of application.

The RCGP GP Specialty Trainee Awards are made for original and innovative projects that contribute
directly or indirectly to the quality of care for patients. Whilst originality and innovation is encouraged, a
wide range of work is eligible – this might include projects produced for the e-portfolio, audits or
educational and practice developments.

Up to five awards are available in 2017, each consisting of:
• Delegate costs to attend RCGP Annual Primary Care Conference & Exhibition
• Invitation to a networking event
• Certificate

RCGP Adolescent Health Care Award 2017

Deadline for poster submission: 25 June 2017

The Adolescent Healthcare Award celebrates research that encourages GPs to provide higher standards of care for their teenage patients.

A discretionary prize of £250 will be awarded to the best poster on the theme of Adolescent Heath Care for the 2017 RCGP Annual Primary Care Conference.

This award is made in memory of Dr Kathy Phipps, an active and enthusiastic member of the RCGP Adolescent Health Group.
