Sitting on the banks of the River Clyde, the Glasgow Science Centre creates a dramatic backdrop for this years Conference Dinner and AiTs/First5 Reception. Both events will join part way through the evening for a Ceilidh, a traditional Scottish dance celebration.

The conference dinner will begin with a welcome reception and an opportunity to experience the Question of Perception exhibition on the first floor (details below). Guests will then be directed to the Atrium on the Ground Floor to be seated for dinner. The Ceilidh will begin after the dinner service, when attendees of the AiTs/First 5 reception will join the dinner guests.
An interactive celebration of popular illusions and parlour tricks exploring the science of how and why our brains are so easily fooled. In a Question of Perception, your whole universe will be tilted in our Wacky Salon. You can grow and shrink in the Ames room and even look into infinity. There are visual illusions, physical challenges and mind-bending puzzles to engage your brain. Every exhibit will make you rethink how you experience the world.
All attendees will come together in the Atrium for the evening entertainment provided by Stravaig Ceilidhs. The space will be set up with a cash bar, dance floor and stage.
*The price of the ticket includes one welcome drink and a three-course meal, half a bottle of wine and the Ceilidh – a cash bar will be available throughout the evening
